With a very strong financial position, an aggregate uncompleted backlog bonding capacity of $125,000,000 and over three decades of successfully completing 100 percent of our projects, C&L Contracting is well positioned to undertake even the most challenging projects.
C&L Contracting Corp. has proven experience in a wide range of projects, including museums, zoos, police precincts, firehouses, colleges, hospitals, athletic facilities and historical preservation. We also have vast expertise in both new, ground-up buildings and complete gut and rehabilitation projects. C&L Contracting has developed strong relationships with some of the best subcontractors and vendors in the industry. We also self-perform all concrete and interior carpentry work.
OUR PORTFOLIOMany advances and changes have taken place in the industry since 1986 when C&L Contracting Corp. completed its first project at Columbia University. C&L Contracting has always strived to be the front-runner in this regard. However, unlike most general contractors, one area in which C&L Contracting has remained steadfast is not becoming a broker that relies solely on subcontractors. C&L Contracting self-performs approximately 40 percent of the work on our projects. This enables us to maintain a continuous physical presence on our projects from inception to completion, and the end result is better quality, safety and control.

careersThe well-being of our employees and all who visit our construction sites is of the utmost importance. C&L Contracting Corp. dedicates full-time safety personnel to all our projects. All of our field personnel possess a minimum certificate of 10-hour OSHA Safety Training. From a liability standpoint, we protect C&L Contracting and our clients by utilizing only A.M. Best A or A+ rated insurance carriers.
