The Ocean Breeze Indoor Athletic Center, one of the largest indoor athletic facilities in the country, is a 110-acre park that was once part of the Staten Island University Hospital campus. C&L Contracting constructed the interiors of the Ocean Breeze Indoor Athletic Center, adding a 135,000 square-foot indoor track and field facility that accommodates 2,500 seats. Among the highlights of the project, C&L constructed a 200-meter, eight-lane competition-level track featuring a hydraulically-operated variable banking. Additionally, a fitness center and an event services area for community use were constructed, and the athletic facility now features many new event competition spaces.
